Objectives: Investigate the features of metabolic syndrome and determine association between metabolic syndrome and clinical factors of ischemic stroke treatment in stroke centre of No.108 Military Central Hospital. Subjects and Methods: This is prospective, cross sectional observational study on 85 patients. Results: the metabolic syndrome was 40 percent in ischemic stroke patients. Metabolic syndrome in female higher than male. Conclusions: The metabolic syndrome was 40 percent in acute ischemic stroke patients. In the components of metabolic syndrome, rate of high blood pressure was 91.2 percent. The metabolic syndrome include 3 components occupy 64.7 percent (hypertension, diabetes, high triglyceride) was common appearance. There is no the relation between metabolic syndrome with clinical level and the type of TOAST and the level of recovery according to modify Rankin scale.
