Purpose: To evaluate the Antiseptic effectiveness of fast washing hands by Spirit Manugel. Method: Authors have studied hands of 31 medical staffs, who have worked in a department of Military Central Hospital 108 from Juanary12009 to September 12009. The cultures from hands of 31 medical staffs had fulfiled before and after washing by Spirit Manugel (Anios) according to procedure guide. The results: Rate of Bacterial contamination of hands was very high. it acounted for 96.77 percent. organisms. in wich: Basil/us 46.67 percent. S. Epidermidis 36.67 percent E.Coli 13.33 percent, P. Aeruginosa 3.33 percent. Antiepseptic Efficacy of Spirit Manugel commonly estimated at 67.7 percent, separately: 100 percent for P. Aeruginosa 81.8 percent for S. Epidermidis, 76 percent for E. Coli and 50 percent for Basillus. Conclusion: Manugel-Alcohol-base hands rubs is simple, suitable, fast and good method .of decontamination and it may be applied widely in hospitals.
