
Objectives: Evaluate the clinical symptoms of non small cell lung cancer (NCLC) and the result of Paclitaxel-carboplatin (TC) and radiotherapy regimen for stage lib -ilia in Viet Tiep Hospital. Methods: Studying 50 advanced patients with non cell lung cancer treated with Paclitaxelcarboplatin (TC) and radiotherapy from 1/2011 to 1/2012 at Viet Tiep hospital. Results: Common age is 40-59 year, peak at 50-59 year (46 percent). Main symptom is chest pain (68 percent), cough rate 56 percent. The results show that chemoradiotherapy with TC overall response rate was 72 percent. complete response is 14 percent, partial rate is 58 percent. Side effects such as grade 1.2 neutropenia were 24 percent. Grade 1, 2 anemia was 28 percent. Side effects of radiotherapy on chest was mild and acceptable. Conclusion: Chemotherapy (TC) and radiotherapy is effective for non cell lung cancer stage lib, Ilia with high OR (72 percent) and manageable toxicities.
