
Objective: Research on 6617 women in Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province to be determine the rate of pre-cancerous lesion and invasive cervical cancer in population. Methods: The training course in cervical cancer screening for medical staff in district was performed in Quang Dien hospital. Women who attend the program were examed by gynaecology staff and the piece of study was being forwarded Hue Central Hospital to make Pap's mear and confirm the diagnosis. Result: The highest range is 31-40 for women attend the screening program. There is 19.27 percent cervicitis caused by mixed flora, 1.87 percent by Trichomonas, 0.65 percent by candida albican. The percentage of Pre-cancerous lesion is 0.36 percent, atypical lesions 0.38 percent, both types of lesions commonly are in the age of 31-60 and highest in the communes Quang Phu and Quang Phuoc. Detecting 5 cases as invasive cervical cancer (0.075 percent). Conclusion: It needs the policy of interest, appropriate investment of the health sector in the early screening to detect cervical cancer in the population.
