The experiments for testing anti-inflammatory and anti-diarrhea effects of the traditional decoction named Huangqin decoction was done. The results show that, with the dose at 2.2 g/ kgBW and 4.4 g / KgBW white mice, Huangqin tang has anti-inflammation and anti-diarrhea effects (p 0.01). At high doses of 8.8 g/kgBW white mice, Huangqin decoction still has good antidiarrhea effect (p 0.01), but did not show anti-inflammation with statistically significant.
