Nghiên cứu cắt ngang thực hiện trên 1931 học sinh (HS) tuổi từ 6 – 15 tại 5 trường thuộc tỉnh Thái Nguyên thì tỷ lệ cong vẹo cột sống (CVCS) là 17,56%, trong đó tỷ lệ CVCS nữ/nam = 1,4, trung học cơ sở chiếm 10,41%, tiểu học chiếm 7,15%. Mức độ CVCS sau khám sàng lọc 238 học sinh được chẩn đoán là CVCS nhẹ chiếm 70,21%, 100 học sinh được chẩn đoán CVCS trung bình chiếm 29,5% và chỉ có 1 học sinh được chẩn đoán là CVCS nặng 0,29%.
A Cross-sectional survey was conducted on 1931 pupils aged from 6 to 15 years old in 5 primary and secondary schools in Thai Nguyen province. The results shown that the scoliosis rate was 17.56%, in which female/male ratio was 1.4, secondary school pupils were 10.41%. In constrast, primary school puils were lower, accounting for 7.15%. The results after screening indicated that 238 pupils were diagnosed with mild scoliosis, accounting for 70.21%; 100 pupils were diagnosed with an average scoliosis, making up 29.5% and only 1 pulils were diagnosed with severe scoliosis, standing up 0.29%.
