
Objective: To evaluate the results of microsurgical treatment of brain tumors at Nghe An general friendship hospital. Material and Methods: The retrospective and descriptive study of 52 brain tumors patients who had microsurgery at Nghe An general friendship hospital from 09/2013 to 09/2105. Results: The lowest age was 17 years, highest age was 65 years, average age was 44.15. Including 52 patients with males and females, females/males was 2.25. The clinical signs: headache was 94.23 percent, vomiting was 28.84 percent, papilloedema 25 percent, hemiplegia was seen 19.23 percent. The most frequent of histopathology types of brain tumors accounted for meningiomas 57.69 percent and glial cell tumors 30.76 percent. Post operative results: good 80.76 percent, medium 15.28 percent and bad 3.86 percent. Check each 3 months after operative, 46 patients had significantly improved results to compare before surgery with majority of I, II degree of Kamofsky scale. Conclusion: The results of microsurgery treatment of brain tumor at Nghe An general friendship hospital is relatively good.
