Objective: Evaluating outcome of hypertensive cerebellar haemorrhage. Methods: Prospective study of 37 patients with cerebellar haemorrhage due to hypertension admitted at Bach Mai hospital from10/2013 to 2/2014. Results:24 males/ 13 females with mean age 58.7. Cerebellar haemorrhage in 59.4 percent, cerebellar haemorrhage associated with vermie haemorrhage in 40.5 percent. 56.7 percent of patients have hematoma over 3cm. 62.2 percent with supratentorial hydrocephalus. Hematoma evacuation and ventricular drainage in 51.4 percent of patients. Ventriculo-peritoneal shunt in 5.4 percent. 78.3 percent of patients were operated during first 3 days. Good outcome in 45,9 percent and all these patients have high score Glasgow. Conclusion: Cerebellar haemorrhage due to hypertension often occurs suddenly in old patients, with respiratory and cardiovascular deteriorations. Operation was indicated when hematoma over 3cm and aceptable clinical status. Outcome of treatement was close relative with clinical manifestration of patient admitting hospital.
