Our study gives the opportunity to evaluate the effects of presurgical nasoalveolar molding therapy on the nasal tissues and alar cartilages on patients with unilateral cleft lip and palate. The presurgical nasoalveolar molding therapy allowing reshaping the flattened nose into a more symmetrical shape and uprighting the columella, also benefited for reducing the difficulty of complex surgeries with more stable postoperative results.
