Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 152 người dân trực tiếp phun HCBVTV khi tham gia sản xuất nông nghiệp. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy tỷ lệ người dân có kiến thức chưa đạt về sử dụng HCBVTV chiếm 42,8%. Chỉ có 56,6% pha thuốc theo hướng dẫn trên vỏ bao bì. Về xử lý HCBVTV thừa sau phun, chỉ có 36,8% người dân đổ chôn ở nơi quy định, có tới 15,1% đổ xuống mương. Phần lớn, người dân biết gom vỏ bao bì, chai lọ vào một chỗ để hủy theo hướng dẫn (79,0%), vẫn còn 21,7% vứt ngay tại chỗ phun. Từ đó chúng tôi đưa ra khuyến nghị tăng cường truyền thông, giáo dục để nâng cao kiến thức về sử dụng HCBVTV an toàn cho người dân.
The study aims to describe knowledge of farmers on pesticide use at Thanh An commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province in 2019. A cross-sectional study of 152 farmers directly sprayed crop protection chemicals in 2019. The study showed that the rate of people with incorrect general knowledge about the chemical plant protection was 42.8%. Only 56.6% used pesticides regarding the instructions. Concern the treatment after spraying, only 36.8% of people dumped it in the prescribed places, up to 15.1% poured in the ditch. Most people knew how to collect the package and containers of pesticides in one place to destroy according to the instructions (79.0%), 21.7% threw them on the spot. Based on the results, we strongly recommend to increase communication and education activities to improve the knowledge of safely adherences for local people.
