Study on the blood lipid lowering effect of the Polyphenol preparation extracted from the Midland tea leaves (FTD-1 preparation) on white mice has been handled according to the model of endogenous hyperlipidemia by Triton WR 1339 of Frantz 1.0. et.al. The experiment has been carried out with the dose of FTO-1 from 125 mg to 350 mg/kg of the mice body weight. The results have shown that the inhibitory effect of increasing of Cholesterol (Cho) and Triglycerid (TO) is best at the dose of 250 mg/kg (reduce Cho by 34.97 percent and TO by 39.90 percent). FTO-2 is created by the combination between FTO-1 with F7 (Flavonoid preparation derived from three medicinal herbs which are commonly used in traditional medicine to reduce fat and lower blood fat) in the proportion of FTO./F7 = 1/1. At the dose of 350 mg/kg, FTO-2 showed synergistic inhibitory effects on increasing levels of Cho and TO in serum better than using each preparation (FTD-1 or F7) separately.
