
The survey of feature clinic and ultrasonography imaging the gallbladder polyp. The operative indication and results of histopathologic of the gallbladder polyp. Materials and method: Materials: All 225 gallbladder polyp underwent cholecystectomy from January 2007 to May 2011 at The Digestible Surgical Department of Hue Central Hospital.- Method: Descriptive and prospective study in all patients had been examined by the abdominal ultrasonography, operative indication and histopathologic. Results: The authors had overalled 225 patients (89 males and 136 females). The diagnosis are confirmed by preoperative abdominal ultrasonography. Cholecystectomy for polypoid lesions gallbladder is symptomatical 84.44 percent, single polyp 83.11 percent, multiple polyp 8 percent, big polyp 8 percent, polyp associated with stones 4.44 percent, adenomyomatosis 8 percent. Histopathologic includs 92 percent of benign 4.44 percent of hyperplasia and 3.56 percent of adeonocarcinoma. Conclusion: The diagnosis of gallbladder polyp by ultrasonography, the indicative cholecytectomy of gallbladder polyp is symptomatical, single polyp, multiple polyp, big polyp, polyp associated with stones and adenomyomatosis. Most of gallbladder polyps are indicated laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Histopathologic analysis of the gallbladder polyp continues to be the gold standard to identify malignancy.
